My Family’s Story

Long before LUCCÈ, jewellery was already part of my family's story.

My mother's parents owned a jewellery store in Vietnam, building their lives around their craft, their family and the community they served. During the Vietnam War, everything changed. They were forced to leave behind their home, their business and the life they had created.

My grandparents, my mum and their family fled Vietnam by boat and came to Australia to begin again. They arrived with very little and faced the enormous uncertainty of rebuilding their lives in a country that was completely unfamiliar to them.

Their journey was defined by courage, sacrifice and determination. Although they had lost almost everything, they remained focused on creating a safer and more secure future for their family.

That strength shaped my mum from an early age. Inspired by parents who had rebuilt their lives from the ground up, she went on to establish a jewellery business of her own in Australia at just 18 years old.

In this way, jewellery became part of our family story across generations. What began with my grandparents in Vietnam was carried forward by my mum in Australia—not as a simple continuation, but as a story of resilience, reinvention and creating new opportunities from an incredibly difficult beginning.

Their journey has always stayed with me. Knowing what they endured, and what they were able to build afterwards, has given my own connection to jewellery a much deeper meaning.

LUCCÈ is entirely my own vision, but it has been shaped by the strength, determination and family values that came before me. For me, this story is not only about where my family began. It is about everything their courage made possible for the generations that followed.

LUCCÈ is one small part of that continuing story, and something I am incredibly proud to carry forward.
