A Different Journey
Laboratory-grown diamonds begin with a tiny diamond seed placed inside specialised equipment that recreates the conditions under which diamonds naturally form. Using either high pressure and high temperature or advanced chemical vapour deposition technology, carbon atoms gradually bond to the seed until a rough diamond crystal develops over several weeks.
Once the growing process is complete, the rough crystal is cut, polished and graded using the same standards applied to natural diamonds. The result is a genuine diamond with the same chemical composition, crystal structure, brilliance and durability as a natural diamond.
The difference lies only in how the diamond was created.
