Meet the Founder
Jewellery has always been part of Sophia's life, but her inspiration began long before LUCCÈ Diamonds.
Her mother was just eighteen years old when she took the courageous step of starting her own jewellery business. Rather than remaining within the family business she had grown up around, she chose to venture out on her own, building something that reflected her own vision, values and ambition. Through years of dedication, she created a business renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, lasting client relationships and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Watching her mother build that business from the ground up became one of Sophia's earliest and greatest inspirations.
Not long afterwards, Sophia's parents met and began working together, combining their individual strengths to grow the business into what it is today. Together, they built far more than a successful jewellery business—they built a reputation founded on trust, integrity and genuine care for every client who walked through their doors.
Growing up, jewellery wasn't simply her family's profession; it was part of everyday life. Many weekends and school holidays were spent in the showroom, surrounded by diamonds, handcrafted jewellery and conversations with clients celebrating some of life's most meaningful milestones. While most children spent their holidays elsewhere, Sophia was learning about craftsmanship, service and the significance behind every piece of jewellery.
"Long before I understood diamonds, I understood what they represented."
From a young age, she watched engagement rings chosen, anniversaries celebrated and family heirlooms passed from one generation to the next. She learned that jewellery is never simply something beautiful to wear. It carries memories, celebrates milestones and often becomes one of the few possessions a family treasures for generations.
As she grew older, her role within the family business naturally evolved. What began with helping around the showroom developed into working on the sales floor, assisting clients with bespoke jewellery, coordinating exclusive client events and supporting charitable initiatives. Those years provided an education that couldn't be found in a classroom, teaching her not only about diamonds and design, but about honesty, craftsmanship and the importance of creating an experience clients never forget.
Although Sophia later completed a Bachelor of Laws, she remained closely connected to the jewellery industry throughout her studies. The analytical thinking, attention to detail and professionalism she developed through law continue to influence the way she approaches LUCCÈ today, but her passion always remained with jewellery.
Inspired by the example set by her parents, Sophia chose to build a brand of her own—one that honours the values she was raised with while bringing a fresh, modern perspective to fine jewellery.
That vision became LUCCÈ Diamonds.
Today, LUCCÈ is founded on the principles that have shaped Sophia from the very beginning: exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design, honesty and meaningful relationships with every client. Every piece is thoughtfully designed, individually handcrafted and made to order with the intention that it will be worn, loved and eventually passed down to the next generation.
For Sophia, the greatest privilege isn't simply creating beautiful jewellery—it's becoming part of life's most important moments. Whether it's an engagement, a wedding, an anniversary or a bespoke heirloom, every piece represents a story, and being trusted with those stories is something she never takes for granted.
LUCCÈ Diamonds is the next chapter in a lifelong connection to jewellery—a brand inspired by the legacy of those who came before, while creating a story that is uniquely Sophia's own.
